Favourites of 2020: Top 18

In order that I read them, here are my favourite books from 2020. At the time I didn’t rate them all 5 stars, but thinking back on last year these are the books that have stuck with me as favourites. In another post I’ll go through my top 5 (or so?) fiction and non-fiction from…

Review – Death in Her Hands by Ottessa Moshfegh

I absolutely adored My Year of Rest and Relaxation by Ottessa Moshegh, so I was really stoked to of gotten the ARC of her new book Death in Her Hands from NetGalley. Unfortunately, I didn’t like it nearly as much as I hoped I would….

Review – The Runaways by Fatima Bhutto

Another book I’m not sure how I feel about! It was really interesting to read and kept me super engaged, even though the subject was really dark and the characters ranged from infuriating empathetic and bleak.

2020 May List

Still no access to the physical library this month, but good news! They open for click and collect early June. Really tried to read all my ARCs this month and fix my NetGalley ratio, and nearly back up there, yay!
